When is the event?

The conference is Sunday February 9, 2020 through Wednesday February 12, 2020.

Where is the event?

All main conference activities will take place at the Music City Center (201 5th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203) right in downtown Nashville.

Where can I find some more detailed information on the conference activities?

Will there be shuttles from hotels to the conference?

No, the hotels are all within a 5-10 minute walking distance. The entrance to the party will be on 4th Ave.

When and where is the Special Event?

The Special Event will take place on Tuesday, February 10th from 7-10pm. We will be shutting down a part of Broadway (between 3rd and 4th Ave) and taking over the bars and street for our Special Event this year. We will have live music and other entertainment, as well as food and drinks with a Nashville-flair. The event is open for all full conference pass holders, as well as those Expo Only, Tuesday, and Booth Staff attendees who purchased the Special Event add-on. You must have your badge and photo ID in order to attend the Special Event – there will be no exceptions.

Are there shuttles to the Special Event?

No, there will be no shuttle service provided. The Special Event is located within walking distance from the conference hotels. The entrance to the party will be on 4th Ave. You must have your badge to be able to gain access to the party.

Whom can I contact for requesting auxiliary aids and services or dietary needs?

There is a section on the conference registration form for accessibility requirements. Please indicate “yes” in this section upon registering.

What types of breakout sessions can I expect?

There are over 350 breakout sessions of all different topics and skill levels – there really is something for everyone! This year’s breakout session categories range from Mechanical Design to Rendering and Marketing, and a whole lot more! Check out more information on the agenda here.

How can I see the list of breakout sessions?

The breakout session agenda is located here. It is also linked from the 3DEXPERIENCE World conference website.

How can I register for the breakout sessions?

In order to add sessions to your agenda, you must have registered for the conference. You can register for breakout sessions by logging into the Connect site with your 3DEXPERIENCE World username and password.

Are there waitlists for the sessions if they are full?

Yes, we will have a waitlist of 10 people for all sessions that reach capacity. We will inform you if you have been removed from the waitlist and added to the session.

I am having a technical problem and cannot register for a session. Who can I contact with questions?

Please contact with any issues.

Are the conference sessions recorded?

Yes, all of the user sessions are recorded and are available (along with the presentation documents) after the conference ends.

Where can I find the recorded sessions?

The recorded sessions will be available on the Connect site. We will send out a communication to all attendees when they are available.

When will the recorded sessions be available?

We will have the recordings available to distribute two weeks after the close of the event.

Can I bring a guest?

We would love to have your guest join us at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020. Full Conference, Educator, Student, and Reseller attendees can all bring a guest for an additional $250.00 fee. The guest pass includes the same admittance as an Expo Only pass. If you would like for your guest to join you at our special event the rate is $450.00.

Is there a discount when you purchase passes for a group?

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests must be received in writing from the original attendee or credit card owner and received on or before 5:00 PM EST, January 10, 2020 in order to receive any refund of fees. Each conference cancellation request will be subject to a $200 service charge, which shall be deducted from any amounts refunded. Cancellation requests received after 5:00 PM EST, January 10, 2020 or no shows at 3DEXPERIENCE World are not entitled to any refund of fees.

How can I request an invitation letter for a visa?

During the registration process when entering your contact details, you will have the opportunity to indicate if you require a visa letter. You will be required to enter your passport number and contact details.

How do I register for the Sunday events (CAD Manager’s Boot Camp, Certification Exams, or Application Engineer Workshop)?

During your registration process based on your registration type you can register to attend Sunday’s events, including CAD Manager’s Boot Camp, Certification Exams, and Application Engineer Workshop (resellers only).

Do you have discounted hotel rooms available for conference attendees?

Yes, we have contracted with specific hotels near the Music City Center. A full list of hotels and details are located here. Be sure to book your hotel accommodations before the cut-off dates, ranging from January 7th-17th in order to get the discounted conference rate. You must book your hotel through the hotel reservation portal in order to get the special rate. After the cut-off date, hotel rooms will be available at the hotel rate.

Who do I contact with changes to my hotel reservation?

o If you have problems with your reservation, you may call Customer Service toll free at 800-967-8852 (International registrants, please call 847-996-5832) or else you can e-mail Customer Service at If you need to change your hotel reservation after the cut-off date, you must contact the hotel directly.

What are the badge pickup hours and location?

Registration is located within Exhibit Hall A1 at the Music City Center. For your reference, this location is right next to the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground and General Session.

Registration hours are as follows:

  • Sunday, February 9th from 7:00AM – 7:00PM
  • Monday, February 10th from 7:00AM – 7:00PM
  • Tuesday, February 11th from 7:00AM – 7:00PM
  • Wednesday, February 12th from 7:00AM – 2:30PM
Will meals be provided?

Yes, a full-conference registration includes both breakfast and lunch. Also, there are evening receptions on Sunday and Monday night, and a Special Event on Tuesday. Expo Only passes do not include access to meals.

What is the recommended attire for the conference?

We recommend that you dress business casual.

Will you provide a program guide upon registering?

All conference program information is accessible via the 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020 Mobile App. The conference app will be available for download on January 20th and will enable attendees to build personalized agendas, view course information and speaker details, navigate the convention center with interactive maps and floorplans, preview and plan their visit to the 3DEXPERIENCE World Playground, and network with other World attendees. A printed Agenda-at-a-Glance guide will also be available on site at registration.

What is the CAD Manager’s Boot Camp and how do I register?

You can find details on the CAD Manager’s Boot Camp here. Registration for this event is within the conference registration system.

How do I register to take a complimentary certification exam?

You can register to take a certification exam within the registration system. There are two exam slots available – 10am-2pm and 3pm-7pm. If there isn’t a time listed, the exam slots are completely filled. If you aren’t able to take an exam onsite, you will also be provided a voucher to take the exam at another time during the 2020 calendar year.
